To set command permissions for roles, on the Roles page:
Click Commands.
On the Command Permissions page, click the + beside the data element(s), listed by user role, for which you want to set command permissions. This will display command settings. To modify administrator command permissions for Cases, for example, you would click the + beside Cases and select the type of permission to apply.
Command permission settings for default roles that have been defined, such as SysAdmin or guest, display in read-only mode and cannot be modified on this page. To compare permission settings for the default rows, select one in each of the drop-down listings at the top of the table.
When you add a new role, it inherits permission settings from the role on which it is based and the data hierarchy of which it is a part. Select or deselect the check boxes for each to modify individual settings. Default settings that are not relevant to your chosen data hierarchy cannot be modified.
